Your Future role

The Community Manager will spend their time managing these key areas:

Established Communities

o   Many games have communities that already exist - whether they've already launched or not. Every day we need to talk to - and hear from - those communities. The Community Manager will spend their time being a part of these communities with a goal of building industry-leading community health and making sure our games get the input they need from an informed player base.

o   Social Media channels will receive questions and feedback daily. These channels will be owned by the relevant community manager and their general health and day-to-day operations will be owned by the successful candidate.

o   Input into brand and game development pipelines with insight and expertise as necessary

Upcoming Release Campaigns

o   New games will have extensive marketing campaigns created for them. Alongside the Brand Manager, the Community Manager will ensure those campaigns are executed with aplomb

  • Manage asset delivery pipelines
  • Manage events - wherever they may begin
  • Ensure key reports and metrics are captured to enable quick and agile campaign management

Run Social Media channels and campaigns that form a part of the overall marketing strategy for games both pre and post-launch

Input into retrospective workshops

Help conceptualize future campaigns and drive the ever-important community elements into new territories - both for META and the games industry. We want to break new ground!

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Experience running Social and Community channels professionally is essential:

  • Excellent written English - fluency in other languages a plus
  • A drive to communicate and a clear understanding of how to translate complicated
  • Premisses into easy-to-digest messages - both to the players, to META, and to our developers
  • An understanding of online UX
  • Customer-forward mindset - you'll be the shield of the player in every conversation
  • Bonus points if that experience is from the games industry
