MY.GAMES Cloud announces 4K gaming, new tariffs

International gaming brand MY.GAMES has announced a major update for its beta cloud gaming service MY.GAMES Cloud. Users will now be able to enjoy games in 4K and 120 FPS, as well as new tariffs to choose from.

4K resolution in 120 FPS will be available for players of some of the top titles available via the service: Warface, Lost Ark, ArcheAge, Dota 2, Fortnite, and others. Upon boot-up after the update, MY.GAMES Cloud will offer optimal video settings depending on your screen’s resolution and the game’s genre. Optimal settings are determined based on user experience and resource management: a MY.GAMES Cloud game launched in 2K/100 FPS will still offer a fantastic visual and gaming experience while consuming far less traffic. Players will still have the option of configuring settings to their liking in the options menu. The minimum speed for running games in 4K/120 FPS is 30 Mb/sec, while 45-50 Mb/sec is recommended for optimal performance.

The MY.GAMES Cloud team is also introducing new tariffs, with Ultra costing 1199 RUR/month and offering 4K/120 FPS, while Medium will cost half as much (599 RUR). All active users by default will be moved to the Medium tariff, with both tariffs offering unlimited traffic and no advertising despite the difference in price. Existing users will get a special offer to upgrade to Ultra with 4K/120 FPS at a 20% discount. Players can choose between subscriptions for a month, a year, or pay by the hour.

“This upcoming update is an important step in our service’s development. Since we launched MY.GAMES Cloud in beta, many users have had the opportunity to experience the benefits of cloud gaming, with a large number already among our loyal subscribers. We are constantly working on improving our project not only by expanding into new territories, but also by offering new technical options, like maximum resolutions, high data processing speeds, and flexible graphics settings. We are trying to make our service as accessible and convenient as possible to users across Russia,” said Maxim Dreval, Head of MY.GAMES Cloud.

The MY.GAMES Cloud games catalog now offers more than 250 titles from developers like Techland, Gaijin, Nacon, Funcom, Paradox Int, CCP Games, MY.GAMES, and others. The service’s audience is ever-expanding as its MAU has already hit 100,000 players. In the past few months, the service has added titles like Dead by Daylight, Northgard, War Robots, and others. In 2021, MY.GAMES will continue experimenting with new monetization models and technical solutions, including launching on new platforms like Mac OS, Android, iOS, and SmartTV.
