Technical Artist, Remote
What you will do:
- Work on the pipelines and requirements for visual content, taking into account prospective platforms, work with the art team
- Together with programmers, finalize and adjust rendering to the needs of the project
- Develop non-standard visual content and systems (shader, post-processes, lighting, cameras, scripts for solving some visual tasks)
- Control the performance of the visual part of the project (profiling, load testing)
- Search and implement solutions to optimize the performance of the graphic part of the project
- Participate in the creation of prototypes for gameplay and visual features
- Assist in importing and setting up complex visual content in the Unity engine, develop tools for automating work with content
- Carry out maintenance of technical documentation
What you need to succeed:
- Confident skills in Unity3D
- C# skills
- Experience writing tools and plug-ins for Unity
- Experience editing, developing shaders (knowledge of HLSL), including for mobile devices
- Experience optimizing graphic content for mobile devices
- Understanding the principles of rendering in real time and limitations on different platforms
- Good command of several visual content development packages (3D Max, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, etc.)
- Advanced communication skills, the ability to clearly convey information
