What you’ll do:

  • Create special effects in Unreal Engine (Niagara) for game scenes, environmental objects, weapons, and characters
  • Maintain stylistic consistency across effects
  • Collaborate with teams of artists, game designers, and programmers
  • Create textures, materials, and shaders
  • Optimize and integrate ready-made effects

What you need to succeed:

  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine (Niagara)
  • Proficiency in additional graphic development packages for VFX (Houdini, Maya, Substance Designer, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
  • An understanding of the artistic, technical, and gameplay aspects of working with effects
  • A strong sense of dynamics, form, color, and composition
  • An understanding of the fundamental principles of animation
