Your Future role

Planning and Strategy, Reporting

  • Coordinate with the rest of the Community structure and the Operations team about Operations Plans for the main Product(s) (but not limited to those) you will oversee
  • Represent the CM team in critical discussions and channels, gather and forward all essential information to the teams and back
  • Work with the Producers and Marketing teams to develop mid- and long-term community strategies for our products
  • Provide the Heads of department with regular reporting on results (Google analytics, NPS scores, etc.)

Community and Social Media Management

  • Ensure consistency and quality of social media messaging across our portfolio on all platforms
  • Provide critical feedback to colleagues taking on writing tasks, preparing content plans or managing official channels
  • Help revisit free influencer and moderator programs to create active and dedicated teams of players supporting CMs or creating content for our games
  • Be a symbol of creative output: challenge established processes and practices in terms of content writing and publication, suggest new approaches

Team Management and Support

  • Oversee the day to day business of the Community Management team
  • Provide individual feedback to the team on areas that can be improved
  • Re-evaluate priorities in times of need
  • Support the members of your team with the help and guidance on daily tasks and coordination with other departments
  • Report and discuss HR issues to the Heads of Community

Processes and structures

  • Maintain, design, document, introduce and implement work processes to support the team in the day to day operations
  • Plan and coordinate the integration of channels to support new games/markets arriving in the portfolio
  • Regularly meet and review community topics and requests with product teams

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Community management, ideally for online video games with a Free-to-Play model or similar experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Experience using Social media & Steam analytic tools but also Console interfaces
  • Experience in Project Management working with different methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Agile)
  • Interest in and understanding of FPS games and their community practices, active monitoring of the industry
  • Proficiency with standard office tools such as Word and Excel, Google Sheets and other online tools (Mind mapping, Project Management, Task Management, etc.)
  • Excellent People management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Fluency in English, excellent public speaking capability
  • A gaming PC (should be able to run recent titles) with a reliable & performing internet connection, good microphone & webcam
  • Strong desire to provide original and out of the box community management by challenging industry’s best practices
