MY.GAMES Launch Hyper-Casual Publishing Programme

Teams will receive up to $50,000 per project to drive development; up to $10 million available in first year

International gaming brand MY.GAMES (part of Group) has launched a new publishing programme aimed at developers of hyper-casual games.

The programme will provide developers with product and marketing expertise throughout the product cycle. Teams will receive up to $50,000 per project to drive development plus marketing budget for reaching tens of millions of installs. In total, MY.GAMES has set aside up to $10 million for development and marketing costs up until the end of 2020.

MY.GAMES will also provide support in validating market and product hypotheses against real users, consult on the best product practices, market trends, provide user acquisition and maximize advertising monetisation.

The programme is aimed at hyper-casual development teams focused on creating hyper-casual, hybrid-casual and idle games. Studios will keep autonomy on decision making and net profit will be split up to 60/40 after launch in favour of the developer on projects started in 2020.

Focus will be placed on finding development teams with drive and ambition rather than longevity as a studio, which can then be plugged into the wider MY.GAMES team.

“MY.GAMES has more than 13 years’ experience developing and publishing games, with some of our most successful, revenue generating titles on mobile,” commented Elena Grigoryan, CMO at MY.GAMES. “We are excited and ready to use that expertise and understanding of the market to partner with developers in the hyper-casual space, a market that generates billions of dollars every year. By launching this publishing programme, we are looking for studios with ambition, creativity and drive, where we can add our expertise to create games played by millions.”

International gaming brand, MY.GAMES, currently publishes global hit mobile titles such as Hustle Castle, War Robots, Left to Survive and more, with approximately half a billion total installs from around the world.
